Due Diligence

Due Diligence 01

Due diligence in property acquisition is an investigation that contributes significantly to informed decision making by prospective buyers, sellers, agents and financiers that ensures the systemic acquisition of relevant data used to deliberate on costs, benefits, and risks associated with the property. The environmental attributes typically considered in due diligence include the potential for groundwater contamination associated with previous uses and existing physical and biological features that may affect the future development of the property such as the presence wetlands, geological hazards, or endangered and threatened species. Water & Air has provided these environmental services to banks and prospective property owners.
